A personalized ketubah (Jewish marriage contract) is a wonderful way to convey your unique story as a couple. It is my honor and privilege to help couples express themselves through an illustrated ketubah that reflects their vision. The Darnov Art Process for a Personalized Ketubah Commission:
1) Intro Phone Call
This is an opportunity for me to hear about your wedding and your ideas for your ketubah.
2) Signed Agreement
The agreement lays out all the details of how I will create your ketubah and ensures that everyone is on the same page about logistics and payment.
3) Sketches
I will visualize your ideas for your ketubah first as a series of small sketches and then as a more detailed drawing. Along the way, you will have the chance to make edits and changes.
4) Finished Painting
I will turn the detailed drawing into a finished painting that includes a text of your choosing. There are many options for choosing a text, such as quality online sources, creating a text with the help of your Rabbi, or Rabbis I am in contact with. I will tweak the painting so you are 100% in love with it!
5) Printing and Delivery!
Your ketubah will be printed on high-quality archival paper that will last a lifetime, ready to sign on your wedding day.
